Terms and Conditions
There will be no exceptions to any of the Terms and Conditions
- Registrations cannot be cancelled or refunded once payment is completed.
- Missed classes will not be compensated with refunds or makeup sessions.
- Pass is transferable once, to another person of the same gender for the same event, provided the attendee arranges the transfer at least 24 hours before the event starts.
- Registrations for introductory workshops for beginners can be moved only once to a session of equal or higher value falling within one month of the original date, subject to the following conditions:
o Payment of the fee difference plus a 20% rescheduling charge based on the original fee.
o Rescheduling is not permitted if either the original registration or the target session is discounted.
o Transfer request must be made at least 24 hours before the original event starts.
o
Transfer depends on existing spots in the next
month’s published schedule. If no matching session is scheduled or available,
the registration expires without a refund.
- The full-term fee applies regardless of your start date or the number of classes attended. No prorated fee options available.
- If a session is cancelled due to the academy’s fault, compensation is provided at the discretion of Bangalore Tango Academy. For regular batches, this compensation is an extended session. For workshops, compensation may be an alternative session or a refund of the workshop fee, excluding the convenience fee. The academy is not financially liable for dates cancelled due to conditions beyond reasonable control, and reserves the right to alter the schedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
- Access is strictly limited to the registered class, including the specific day and venue. Interchanging sessions is not allowed.
- Batches commence only if a minimum of 10 participants register. If this requirement is not met, your registration can be moved to the next batch or refunded minus the convenience fee.
- Your booking is not confirmed until you receive the email receipt for your payment. Please ensure you enter a valid email address properly without any spelling mistakes. You will receive an email receipt once your payment is successfully credited to our account, and that will serve as your entry pass.
- Photographs and videos taken during classes, milongas, or events may be used for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to this usage. If you prefer not to be featured, it is your responsibility to stay clear of the camera view during the event. The academy does not crop, edit, or remove individuals from captured media. All material forms part of our permanent archive and cannot be altered or taken down retroactively at any point after capture.
- We reserve the right to admission to our events.
- We reserve the right to make changes to the events.
- We do not accept responsibility for items lost or stolen.
- Inappropriate or rude behaviour towards fellow students, the teacher, or admin will not be tolerated. All interactions, including online communication, must remain courteous and professional, failing which your registration may be cancelled without any refund. Please read our Etiquette and Code of Conduct before attending.
- Your act of booking means that you have read and are in complete agreement with these terms and conditions. No exception will be made.
