We are a dedicated Tango Dance Academy, with Tango at the heart of our practice and pedagogy.

Β

For those curious about other Latin styles, we offer a beginner-level course that introduces the foundational elements of Dominican Bachata and Merengue.

Tango is a dance of connection and improvisation, where partners move in harmony to create a unique story with every embrace.

Originating in Buenos Aires, it blends cultural influences with deep emotional expression. With no fixed patterns, it is a conversation of movement, guided by music and mutual understanding – a true dance of the heart.

Yes, you can! Join one of our introductory workshops before the new batch begins to get a glimpse of Tango. Alternatively, you can register for a session in our ongoing batch and experience the magic of Tango firsthand.

Β

Please note:

  • Trial sessions are available only for Tango, not Bachata.
  • We do not offer trials for single male participants.

Details about upcoming classes can be found here.

Not at all! Most of our students start with no prior dance experience, so there is no need to worry.

Our instructor’s innovative teaching methods make learning smooth and enjoyable. You can confidently start from scratch with our well-structured, beginner-friendly classes.

Absolutely. While bringing a partner is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Our batches are role-balanced, not pair-dependent – so registering solo is perfectly fine.

We do limit individual registrations to maintain class balance, so early registration is essential:

  • Single men must join the waitlist. This is currently the only way to secure a spot. Add your email address to the waitlist on the product listing page for your desired batch or workshop. You will be notified automatically when a spot opens.
β†’ Important: Receiving a notification does not guarantee a spot. If offered one, please act promptly. Missing the response window will result in removal from the waiting list without reminders.
  • Single women may register directly, but last-minute sign-ups often destabilize batch planning. Please register at least:
  • 2–3 weeks in advance for regular batches
  • 10–12 days before for workshops

We rotate partners in class to help everyone explore both lead and follow roles, regardless of gender. This deepens learning and reflects the spirit of Tango as a social dance.Β Group classes are designed for shared participation. If you are seeking exclusivity, please book a private session instead.

Β

We aim for a balanced lead-follow ratio, but it cannot always be guaranteed. Timely registration helps us coordinate better. Registering with a partner is strongly advised.

Β

Absolutely. No exceptions.

Balanced batches depend on early registration, especially given the persistent gender ratio imbalance (currently 4:1, men to women). We do not accommodate walk-ins or on-the-spot registrations. Partner dance is not a solo pursuit, and our planning hinges on knowing participant numbers well in advance.

For Single Men:
Must join the waitlist. If offered a spot, respond within the window provided

For Single Women:
We have observed a pattern of last-minute sign-ups. Our system does not support this. Please register:

-> 2-3 weeks in advanceΒ for regular batches

-> 10-12 days in advanceΒ for workshops

For All Participants:
Missed responses will result in removal from the waiting. Repeated delays or non-responsiveness may affect future registration eligibility. Our team operates on tight timelines, and we rely on prompt communication to maintain fairness and efficiency.

Β

Pre-registration is not just a logistical necessity. It is a mark ofΒ respect. It allows us to create an equitable learning space for everyone.

Β

No. The is no age limit.

No specific dance wear or shoes are required to start these classes.

Indiranagar: Studio is nearΒ BSNL office
Jayanagar: Studio is near 5th block

Β

The exact class location will be shared with registered participants via WhatsApp one day prior to the session.

We have chosen not to disclose the venue publicly in advance due to repeated incidents of unregistered walk-ins, which have disrupted class dynamics and compromised participant experience. This boundary is essential to protect the safety, privacy, and integrity of our academy.

If you are assessing commute feasibility, we have provided a nearby landmark to help you gauge distance.

We launch a new batch every month.

Yes, you can! We keep batch registrations open through the first two classes. If you miss the initial classes, we will help you catch up.

If you miss a class, please note that refunds (full or partial) or compensation, such as extended classes, are not provided. However, you have several options to make up for missed classes:

  • Review the content of the previous class at the beginning of the next session.
  • Attend one class at another venue during your subscription period, subject to availability.
  • Seek assistance from senior dancers, who are always available to help you catch up.
  • Consider opting for the “All-inclusive Improvers Subscription” once you complete your beginner’s course. This pass allows you to revisit the beginner’s course while attending your improvers’ class, making it a great way to revise the entire batch.
  • If you miss more than three classes, we encourage booking a one-on-one session to review the material and stay on track.

For a truly holistic learning experience, a strong foundation in partner dancing is non-negotiable.

The foundational base is shared across all partner dance styles.

Even if you have previously attended classes or workshops in some of these styles, we recommend beginning with this course. Our instructor’s unique and innovative teaching method simplifies learning recurring steps, ensuring fast and effective mastery in one go.

Β

Worried about juggling multiple styles? You don’t need to be.
These styles don’t compete, they complement. A technique that feels elusive in one form often clicks when approached through another. There is significant overlap in movement vocabulary, with rich cross-pollination across genres.

While each style applies movement differently depending on rhythm and musicality, they collectively build body awareness, alignment, and musical sensitivity. This integrated approach makes beats and rhythms more intuitive and accessible.

Β

This 3-month course lays the groundwork for specialization.
Once completed, you will be ready to join improver-level classes focused on individual styles.

Β

We recommend starting with Tango.

It offers unmatched clarity, structure, and grounding that benefits all other forms.
